The Washington Post reveals the dreadful truth. When it comes to booze, the only liquid the two parties agree on is Bud Light. Those of us who are genuine liberals stay well away from Bud. We like "any microbrew" and Dos Equis and Tecate (my choices). I always thought Coors was a beer from hell and -- go figure! -- it's a Republican favorite!
While they're sloshing down the bourbon, we're sipping vodka.
Sad to say, there are liberals who actually drink sauvignon blanc. Sauvignon blanc, a dreadful wine (a California wine) favored by those who arrange gallery openings, just happens to be the wine of choice for Democrats who vote. Democrats who opine -- but who don't bother to vote -- drink "any malt liquor." Republicans vote more than Dems, but they are fueled by serious crud: Coors and Busch Light (which is also favored by some low-turnout lefties).
