Massachusetts Republicans are "scrambling." Since Scott Brown dropped out of the senate race, they've been searching for the magic candidate that will show... well... that Massachusetts actually does contain some Republicans. Oh, and take a John Kerry's senate seat away from the Democrats.
Ron Kaufman, a former aide to Mitt Romney, tells the Boston Herald that he's received several calls about Ann Romney, despite the fact that she's never expressed an interest in entering politics and was clearly fed up with nastiness of politics by the end of the campaign.
