When the A-list actor appeared at the White House on Thursday and was asked about President Obama’s reelection chances, Clooney — a staunch Obama supporter — said he didn’t know.
“I hope they’re very good,” Clooney told a gaggle of (swooning) reporters at the White House. “I’m a Democrat and I’m a supporter of the president, so I hope he has a successful election.”
Clooney, who attended Wednesday night’s state dinner honoring British Prime Minister David Cameron, told reporters he enjoyed the black-tie affair and the woman seated beside him — first lady Michelle Obama.
“I got to sit next to her,” the Hollywood heartthrob said. “It was really nice." ...The Hill
