Late last night, Daily Intel reported a delegate switch in Michigan, whose delegates were split between Romney and Santorum. Now Romney (whose showing in his home state was more than a little embarrassing) has a "majority." Presto chango. The 15-15 split has become 16-14.
The announced 15-15 delegate split between Romney and Santorum was based on an incorrect rule, according to the Michigan Republican Party Credentials Committee. Each candidate was awarded one of the two at-large or "statewide" delegates based on a proportional allocation, but now the powers that be say both at-large delegates should have been awarded to the popular vote winner, which was Romney. ...Daily Intel
