I think they were the kind who told their kids they could do no wrong. And if they didn't feel like going back to school after a long, self-indulgent summer vacation, well, that's okay. Or if they felt like going back to school at 6 pm rather than 8 am like everyone else in the world does, well, that was okay, too.

President Obama seems to have been brought up differently. He gets there on time and he works. After Labor Day weekend, the rest of the world is back at work Tuesday morning. Not Congressional Republicans. They're not even back on Wednesday morning.
