Nancy Pelosi took a hard fall last November and handled it with grace. But the loss of power obviously rankles. Now she is suffering from loss of power over one of her own, Representative Weiner, who won't bow to her wishes and step down with all due speed.
I won't even get into the powerful mother vs. the errant child bit. I'd just say Pelosi is losing both the moral high ground and the political battle.
