Want to listen to a very spirited discussion about the struggle between corporate interests and democratic interests? Pretty much sums up what's going on in Wisconsin, Ohio, and elsewhere.
The discussion is between Nancy Maclean, an historian of labor and public policy at Duke University and Chris Edwards, the director of tax policy studies at The Cato Institute. Maclean is superb; Edwards isn't. It feels good to hear him get ground under the heel of a woman who sounds a lot like Elizabeth Warren.
This video clip from the Rachel Maddow show last night nails the one aspect of the Republicans' fight against labor (and jobs!) that Maclean and Edwards didn't cover: the very personal fight against Barack Obama.
