I don't want to quote anything from Maureen Dowd's column today. But that's not because Dowd has been repulsive. It's that the people she writes about are so revolting they should be shunned, not given any more space.
People who says it's not guns, it's people who use them wrongly, have a point. People who say it's not the internet or twitter, it's the people who use them badly, have a point, too.
I'd have a shotgun in the house for our local, aggressive skunks if I knew how to shoot it accurately. I have a computer and it gets plenty of use. The skunks on the internet are a problem. I walk very carefully around them, deleting them when they comment on this blog. The skunks Dowd refers to are Nir Rosen, Debbie Schussel, and Simone Wilson, among others. No need to pass along what they say. That would be like forcing you to sniff their butts, too.
