He's left. Or at least they're pretty sure he's gone for good. The noise in Cairo -- citywide apparently -- is building. Honking horns, shouts. Reporters keep using the word "jubilation."
Confirmation that Mubarak has officially resigned. "Thirty years of rule brought down in 17 days."
The next step is to change the constitution in Egypt to make fair elections possible. The army have apparently "guaranteed" that, but no one is at all certain.
