Paul Ryan is to scheduled to give the Republican response to the State of the Union address. In view of what happened to, among others, surefire Republican star, Bobbie Jindal (Bobbie who?), the event doesn't augur well for Ryan's future. Note also that Ryan will not be the only Republican responding to the president tonight.
