There's been a lot of revisionist talk on the right about the recession having been "Obama's recession."
Not.
The National Bureau of Economic Research, the group that dates recessions, puts the start at December 2007 and, as we were startled to find out a couple of months ago, it officially ended in June 2009.
It could well have been a result of lousy Republican policies. They would probably be wise to shut up about it. The most casual of googling defeats their efforts to reframe the story.
