Now that everyone is feeling bitter about President Obama, the unfairness of a variety of programs is being pointed out. One guy called a talk show and complained that "Cash for Clunkers" (about to end) did nothing for people, like him, who had already switched to higher gas mileage vehicles.
I agree. Lots and lots of us have "sacrificed" and bought, like, Hondas and Toyotas and been saintly for decades. And I have a solution. I want to put the VIN number of my Honda on my 2009 1040 and get back a nice, chunky (not clunky) refund. Even half of that $4,500 would do nicely. Thank you.
