That's from David Mamet's script for "The Verdict." Paul Newman, rundown loser of a lawyer, is making his closing argument in a big case. The Catholic Church is sheltering an incompetent doctor who has killed a patient and covered it up. The judge, bought and paid for, has disallowed key evidence which proves the doctor is guilty.
That passage caught my eye because it seems to reflect the beliefs of many supporters of Obama. He has to know it. How should he respond?
