Harvard Law professor, Laurence Tribe, took a young Barack Obama on as his principle researcher almost twenty years ago when Obama was still in his first year at law school. Not only was Tribe blown away by Obama's abilities (and attitudes) but he found that often he and the future president were on the same length about interpretations of the Constitution -- and the "invisible" or unwritten aspects of constitutional law. Listen here to an interview with Tribe in which he describes some of his work with Obama. The view he gives of Obama's capabilities -- and our constitution and its interpretation -- is enormously reassuring. Recommended.
