AP has a bulletin that the US will join with the Iraqi government in regional talks with Syria and Iran.
This is hopeful news? This would be hopeful news were it possible to believe in the good intentions of the Bush administration. It's too damn bad their credit is so bad that even what should be good news has the feel of false coin.
