Brian Lehrer this morning devotes a couple of segments to education and marriage. Then Paul Berman talks about talks "about being a reluctant hawk and how much should the citizenry take the blame for the war in Iraq." Which citizenry? Us or them?
Pretty much everything else is holiday reruns.
Update: That Paul Berman segment got pretty interesting -- worth a listen, believe me. Some hot-under-the-collar discussion about who should get blamed for letting Bush get away with everything. Plus, it reveals the fuzzy-mindedness of those who supported the invasion of Iraq. Not just venality. I kept wondering: is there an entire coterie of baby-boomer innalecshules whose brains have been permanently affected by, like, acid? Do they all write for the New Republic?
