That's amazing. I didn't realize that. It's changed my mind completely.
And it's stunning how both Washington and Lincoln (happy birthday to you both, guys!) managed it without electric power, telephones, etc. I guess they had cell phones then.
Let's hope the Senators on the Committee back off and realize what a venerable history electronic surveillance has had. They're hassling the White House and taking up everyone's time so unnecessarily.
