Hello! Thanks for a great article.
"Americans need to face the sobering reality that the country’s infrastructure is in trouble." I think you made a major misstatement! I think the American people already know this; it's the politicians with the smoke and mirrors that keep us from being great. They need to quite pointing fingers and accusing each other of misdeeds and roll up there sleeves and actually earn there right to represent us the American people. I personally don't think they have earned their paychecks. If they were actually employed they would be fired.

You make a good point, Torrent. But I don't separate "Americans" from tour politicians. One of the big changes in my lifetime is hearing elected officials, who used to refer to the American people as "we," now refer to all of us as "they." After all they are us, we are them. Until that sinks in on both sides, we'll continue to flounder and elect really poor representation.
