If you've visited this blog before, you know how unpopular religion is here. Whichever religion. Living in Texas with the constant Christian radio jihad, it only gets worse.
But here's the more comical part: god's fog. These mornings in late winter/early spring -- down here in the Bible Belt -- we get big, heavy, drippy fogs, the kind that ruin radio reception in rural areas. It's not just that FM gets kind of iffy on deeply foggy mornings, it's that -- out of the fog, loud and clear -- Christian stations take over.
This association, not to say partnership, between religion and fog seems very natural and appropriate.
