Well, it's been this way in November, too. This is the US in December this year, or at least the first week of December.

Except for the normal temps along most of our coasts and the chills in the mountains and along the coasts of Washington, Oregon and down through northern California, the temperature anomolies range from 4 to 25 degrees warmer... hotter. It's been like this for a while... some years.
