In an election that was closely contested, Republican Rep. Vernon Parker, tea partyer, has lost to Kyrsten Sinema, Democrat. At this point let's add that this is not just another race, this is an Arizona race in which the winner isn't just a Democrat but also (brace yourself) bisexual.
One race in Arizona, that between Rep. Ron Barber (D) and Martha McSally, remains uncalled as of Monday afternoon, though Barber leads his Republican opponent by nearly 300 votes.
Other contests that have yet to be called are for Reps. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.), Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.) and Mike McInytre (D-N.C.). ...The Hill
