At the moment (3:45 pm ET), the eye is at 33N a ways off the North Carolina coast and looks as though it might just track a little more to the east, hitting mid-coast Connecticut, or to the east of that. But this is a huge storm, so New York's close-down this evening makes a lot of sense. By the time you click through to this Java storm-track, the situation will have changed...
