Reid noted that Halliburton flourished after Cheney became vice president, profiting handsomely from government contracts during the war in Iraq. He said Cheney is likely still defending the company’s interests.
“Well, Vice President Cheney's up here. We know that before he became vice president, he worked for Halliburton. Halliburton did extremely well during his time as vice president, and I assume there's going to be some concern about Halliburton again in this conversation they're going to have today,” Reid told reporters. ...The Hill
And now the former vice president is worried about the value of his holdings at Halliburton. Just when we thought "transparency" had been forgotten in Washington, there's old Dick Cheney, clinging to his passion for sending others to war. Sheesh! You can see right through the guy.
