After about two days on the market, Rachel Maddow's "Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power" is #8 at Amazon with rave blurbs and reader reviews. Same with audible.com.
One of the most heartening aspects of the overall positive reaction to her book is the back-and-forth at Amazon between anti-Maddow (pro-Coulter) readers. The later are being taken to task by careful readers. I admit I haven't seen -- since Bush v. Gore any examples like this of the kind of rigorous, populist energy beating back the knuckle-draggers. Liberals are getting some muscle. About time.
Maddow deserves some credit for this along with perhaps another half-dozen media figures.
BTW: now is not the time to forget about boycotting Limbaugh's advertisers. Do we want him gone or do we want him gone?
